Michael is a dedicated member of our Arbutus Financial team, working as an Associate Financial Advisor. He is currently working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Michael is a key contributor in the work we do with our clients in examining their financial situation and developing solutions to help reach their objectives. His financial and analytical skills are greatly valued by the team members he works with and the clients he serves.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Michael attended St. Thomas More Collegiate High School where he took part in several team sports and extracurricular activities. Michael completed a post-secondary degree in Biology at UBC in 2013 and he completed the Diploma in Accounting Program (DAP) at UBC Sauder School of Business in 2015. He has spent five years working in public practice accounting in Vancouver. He is thrilled to be part of Arbutus Financial’s diverse and collaborative team and apply the skills attained through his previous education and professional experience.
Michael is an avid hiker and has completed many of the largest hikes in British Columbia. When he is not hiking, he enjoys playing soccer and cycling. Michael also enjoys travelling and has visited many incredible places including Iceland, Spain, Morocco, and Japan – just to name a few.
