Peter has been providing professional planning services for the past 45 years in various capacities. For 15 years he worked as an urban planner with cities in Ontario and B.C. and as a planning consultant advising major real estate developers and large pension funds on property development in the Toronto area. For the past 30 years, he has worked as a consultant to business and professional clients advising them on financial/estate planning, investments and pension plans, as well as life and group health insurance benefits. With his strong planning background, he thrives on helping clients develop and implement solutions that meet their comprehensive financial needs.
Peter holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. He graduated from McMaster University with a Magna Cum Laude BA and the University of Toronto with a M.Sc. (Pl.). He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force and retired at age 25 as a commissioned Pilot Officer.
Peter is actively involved in the community. He was a founding member of Fraser Academy School and served as Board Chair for many years. Fraser Academy provides a successful educational environment designed for dyslexic children from grades 1 to 12. He is an active member of the Vancouver Estate Planning Council.
Peter is married to Lynn, a retired RN. His son Mark is a successful realtor and his grandson Michael is in Grade 11 at Southridge School. Peter is an avid hiker and cyclist and lately has taken up golf. He loves reading history books, autobiographies and enjoys classical music.
